12-page, 7x8" tall booklet. A showcase and celebration of three classic typefaces [transitional, modern, and lineal]

This project is a typeface classification booklet that showcases a set of typefaces, displaying their typographic elements, features, and real-world applications.

The intention of this project was to highlight a strong use of grids and visual/typographical hierarchy to create a cohesive message that’s aesthetically motivated for a pleasurable yet user-friendly viewing experience.

The use of various complementary layouts and color schemes in this twelve-page booklet showcases a unique spread of type. Using typeset content for long-form type to demonstrate differentiation and applying a multi-column grid format allowed me to exhibit my knowledge of designing for display.
